This installation is rooted in the symbolic language present in Etel Adnan’s The Arab Apocalypse. The current circumstances of our reality have me turning to the past and connecting with ancestral un-languages. The artifacts seem otherwordly, but I have hope that in the future we will have gained the knowledge and connections back into our collective consciousness to be able to better grasp these glyphic languages.
